This hotel has very good location and service. Loved how very clean the room was. Such a TRADITIONAL property - easy walk to everything. There's lots of restaurants to choose from, like Sobadokoro Wahei, set within 5 minutes walk or so.

The hot springs were a highlight of my stay, with three different options to choose from. The temperature was perfect, and they were well-maintained. Another plus was the location, just walking distance from both a popular park and a well-known attraction. Lastly, the food was delectable and plentiful, with many small courses to enjoy.
While the staff was friendly, the language barrier made communication a bit challenging at times. the early breakfast time was not ideal for those who like to sleep in on vacation.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of luxury and amenities. the staff were welcoming and attentive to our every need. the private facilities, such as the onsen baths and massage chairs, were exclusive and added to the overall luxurious experience.
While the meals were tasty and well-presented, some of the dishes felt out of place in a traditional Japanese ryokan. This was a minor issue in an otherwise outstanding stay.

The hotel was situated in a convenient location, being halfway to Sainokawara park. Our communal dining experience had a beautiful view of the Yubaka. the room conditions were satisfactory and the onsen was relaxing after a long day. the amenities were adequately supplied.
The staff was not flexible with late check-out times.

No issues.

We spent Easter at an onsen hotel in Gunma and it was a great experience. the traditional Japanese-style room was very comfortable and had a lovely view of a frozen pond. the onsen had different types of baths and the massage chairs were a plus after the hot soak. the location, in the heart of the town, made it easy to explore the area and there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
The breakfast had limited options and the staff kept reminding us about the meal times. the language barrier was a bit of a challenge, as the staff had trouble communicating in English.
